Jaap Meijer is the Cyber Security & Privacy Officer for Huawei Technologies in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland and Portugal since 2015. In this capacity he is responsible for external communication surrounding security and privacy and also leads the internal team to build an assurance system ensuring the highest levels of security compliance.

Jaap has been working with Huawei since 2005 and has held various positions during this period. Prior to joining Huawei Jaap held different technical and commercial positions within KPN, AT&T and Lucent Technologies for more than 15 years.
